September 2012- Shot the short film “The Catch.” Covered the red carpet interviews for Still the Drums at  New York International Independent Film and Video Festival for the Patriot Reporter News. Was interviewed by Bill Chete for www.horrorpalace.com

August 2012-Participated in We Make Movies staged reading and set up a new mini voiceover home studio.

July 2012-Shot new photos with Manny Hui, was interviewed by various media outlets like Toneal Jackson, Actors E Chat Show, and Dawna Lee Heising of More Horror.

June 2012-Was featured as one of the Valley’s most eligible singles by Our Ventura Blvd Magazine.

May 2012-Had the honor of being directed by the lovely and talented Catherine Dent in the AFI workshop for women project. Was interviewed by the amazing Amber Malise on her fabulous radio show and shot new headshots with Daniel Tanner.

April 2012-Shot my co-starring role on the Untitled Mindy Kaling pilot for FOX and had the pleasure of being interviewed on the funny and irreverent Ken Pettigrew show.

March 2012-Booked a fun co-starring role on the hilarious Untitled Mindy Kaling pilot on FOX and Next Life Crisis screened by We Make Movies at the Downtown Independent. Was also interviewed by Neil Haley on the Total Tutor show.

January 2012 – Covered the Golden Dragon Parade for GEM TV. This parade is a celebration of the Chinese New Year. I also participated in a staged reading at We Make Movies.

December 2011 – Voiced two roles in an animated film for Dominic Polcino, who is an Emmy-nominated director of the Simpsons, Family Guy and King of the Hill. Covered Griffith Observatory for GEM TV.

November 2011 – Covered the Grove Christmas tree lighting and the LA Auto Show for GEM TV.

October 2011 – Covered the Halloween Harvest Festival at Pierce College for GEM TV.

September 2011 – Covered the LA County Fair, Universal Studios, the Feast of San Gennaro, and the Hollywood Legends Collection at Grauman’s Chinese Theater for GEM TV.

August 2011 – Booked and shot a lead role in the indie film “Cross My Heart,” which is written and directed by my talented friend, Adrienne Zi. I met Adrienne when she cast me last fall in her hilarious web series “It Casting.” Also shot a fun character role in the indie film “Shirin in Love” with an all-star ensemble cast including Maz Jobrani, Marshall Manesh, Nazanin Boniadi and George Wallace. I also covered the Noor Film Festival for GEM TV. In the midst of all of these projects, I also participated in a staged reading at We Make Movies.

July 2011 – Covered the Queen Mary for GEM TV and participated in a staged reading at We Make Movies. Had the pleasure of being interviewed by journalist Suzi Khatami of KIRN radio again.

June 2011 – Covered the Getty Center and the Autry National Center for GEM TV. Was honored to be interviewed by prominent journalist Suzi Khatemi of KIRN radio about my career in Hollywood.

May 2011 – Covered the Concours D’Elegance cars show at the historic Greystone Mansion as well as the Bash Fashion show in Hollywood for GEM TV.

April 2011 – Shot “Next Life Crisis” and the “Untitled Persian Project.” Covered the Decisions, Exporting Raymond, and Hoodwinked Too! premieres for GEM TV.

March 2011 – Booked “Untitled Persian Project” and just started working as an entertainment correspondent for GEM TV, a satellite TV station.

February 2011 – Signed with 90210 Talent for theatrical representation and Talento for commercial representation. Also participated in a staged reading with the awesome folks at We Make Movies.

January 2011 – Shot the promo for the Green Manor web series I’m starring in. Interviewed by Doug Foresta on his radio show and Rosie Dehghani on Omid-E-Iran TV.

December 2010 - I must quite the fashionista as I was quoted in the 365 Days of Style site. I am also now honored to be the brand ambassador for LeoBella, an upscale, trend-setting line.

November 2010 – Premiere of the Bilderberg Club project that I starred in at the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival (NYIIFVF). Participated in the Scriptathon stage reading of an award winning play and did an ADR session for the It Casting webseries. Interviewed by Sue Oliver for her Passions and Possibilities Network® radio show. Also featured in 24-7 Style’s column “What’s your go-to piece or outfit?”

October 2010 – Shot an episode of the It Casting Webseries. Was also interviewed on ATV and by Internet Voice Coach.

September 2010 – Shot the pilot for the Green Manor web series with Tony Moran, the original Mike Myers from “Halloween.” I also participated in a couple of staged readings.

August 2010 – Participated in a staged reading with the Deadline Junkies and took new headshots with Janice Allen, an awesome photographer. I was also on the planning committee for the Ivy Awards, who is named after my dear friend Ivy Bethune.

July 2010 – It was a month of staged readings! Participated in the staged reading of a hilarious script called “Crew Call” and also got the chance to be a part of two staged readings at We Make Movies.

June 2010 – Shot the pilot for the Alternative Brother web series. Was interviewed by Doug Foresta from the Break free to Success radio show. The NoH8 PSA premiered online.

May 2010 – Was honored to be interviewed by Mr. Parviz Gharib-Afshar, who is the Iranian version of Johnny Carson for his show on Tapesh TV. Shot a supporting role in director Marc Rezvani’s edgy TV pilot and participated in the Deadline Junkies staged readings once again.

April 2010 - Signed with 3G Management as well as Hervey Grimes for voiceover representation! I was also honored to be the announcer for the tribute to legendary director Reza Badiyi at UCLA’s Royce Hall.

March 2010 - Was honored to be asked to participate in the NoH8 Campaign’s PSA and was also interviewed by Ken Hudnall on his radio show.

February 2010-Was thrilled to be a part of the Middle Eastern Comedy Fest’s writing lab as well as participate in a staged reading with the Deadline Junkies. I also had the pleasure of being the runway announcer for designer Shekhar Rahate’s fashion show. Was a host at the awards ceremony for the award-winning film “Still the Drums.”

January 2010 - Super excited to announce that I just got voiceover representation with Ryan Artists and was the runway announcer for the 2010 LA Fashion Corner Pre-Grammy Fashion show at the Highlands.

December 2009 - Shot an infomercial for NurturePure baby bottles. Was honored to be asked by my talented friend Samah Tokmachi to be a part of a script reading of a feature film he co-wrote with Daniel Spurgeon.

November 2009 –  Covered the Premiere of the Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus at the AFI Film Festival.

October 2009 – Finished shooting the Untitled Joe Castro project. Was interviewed by KIRN and Changemakers Radio show. Shot the Voiceover Camp pilot! Enrolled at the Voiceover Summit sponsored by the SAG Foundation. All the donations made to this wonderful series ofpanels raises money for the Don LaFontaine Voice-Over Lab.

September 2009 – Shot the Untitled Joe Castro project, where I have a great supporting role! Covered the Middle Eastern Comedy Festival. Updated my commercial voiceover demo.

August 2009 – Shot the Bilderberg Club project www.thebilderbergclub.com . Performed with www.dramaticsolutions.net at the USDA in my hometown of DC. Booked another industrial narration gig with www.transperfect.com. Hosted the Still the Drums premiere.

July 2009 - Signed with Jeffrey Loseff Management and posed for the NOH8 Campaign.

May 2009 – Check me out as the voice of a sexy and mysterious artist for my talented friend Tamo Noonan’s audio short story titled “The Last Night.” I’m getting a lot of press this month as well! There is an article about me in Tehran Magazine and I’m also featured in a story about Singular Magazine’s Spring Fling Fashion Show.

March 2009 – Booked various freelance red carpet hosting projects and a voiceover narration job for Fidelity Investments with Transperfect Translations.

May 2008 – Just booked a wonderful gig with Dramatic Solutions performing interactive business theatre in New Jersey and Connecticut with the very talented Gail Golden and some other great actors.

February 2008 – I just got a new hosting gig at MaximoTV. I’m also working on a documentary about Bob Baker, a legendary puppeteer as well as conducting the behind the scenes interview for the DVD Featurette of the indie film “Pizza With Bullets.”

January 2008 – My new hosting reel is up at SpeedReels.

September 2007 – Just started working as an entertainment correspondent on red carpets for ATV, a satellite TV station.

April 2007 – I was recently on “Mind of Mencia” playing an Iraqi wife in the “Deal or We Kill Your Whole Family” sketch, which is a hilarious spoof of “Deal or No Deal.”
